How to request deletion of your data from Boostfy.me

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data from Boostfy.me at any time. This page explains how to delete your data, what will be deleted, and the timeline for deletion.
Methods to Request Data Deletion
Method 1: Delete Your Account (Recommended)
The fastest way to delete all your data is to delete your Boostfy.me account directly from the dashboard.
- Log in to your Boostfy.me account at boostfy.me/dashboard
- Navigate to Settings → Account Settings
- Scroll to the bottom and click "Delete Account"
- Confirm your decision by entering your password
- Click "Permanently Delete My Account"
⚠️ Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data, including messages, contacts, chatbot flows, and integrations will be permanently deleted.
Method 2: Email Request
If you cannot access your account or prefer to request deletion via email:
- Send an email to privacy@boostfy.me
- Use the subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
- Include the following information:
- Your full name
- Email address associated with your Boostfy.me account
- Reason for deletion (optional)
- Any specific data you want deleted (if not requesting full account deletion)
- We will verify your identity and process your request within 30 days
Method 3: API Endpoint (For Developers)
Developers can programmatically request data deletion using our API:

Method 4: Facebook Data Deletion Callback
If you connected your Facebook or Instagram account and want to delete data through Facebook:
- Go to your Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites
- Find "Boostfy.me" or "boostfy.me" in the list
- Click "Remove" or "View and Edit"
- Select "Delete all your activity"
- Facebook will send a deletion request to our system
- We will process the deletion within 30 days
Note: This only deletes data related to your Facebook/Instagram connection. To delete your entire Boostfy.me account, use Method 1 or 2.
What Data Will Be Deleted?
When you request data deletion, the following information will be permanently removed:

- Facebook Page connections and access tokens
- Instagram Business Account connections
- WhatsApp session data
- Telegram bot configurations
- Email account credentials
- SMS service configurations
- All other third-party integrations

- All received messages from all channels
- All sent messages and responses
- Message attachments (images, videos, documents)
- Conversation history and metadata
- Message delivery status and read receipts

- Chatbot flows and configurations
- Chatbot sessions and conversation states

- NLP training data and intents
- Knowledge base articles and content

- Contact lists and customer information

What Data May Be Retained?
In certain limited circumstances, we may retain some data even after deletion:
- Legal Obligations: Data required by law to be retained (e.g., financial records for tax purposes) may be kept for the legally required period.
- Aggregated Analytics: Anonymized and aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained for statistical analysis and service improvement.
- Backup Systems: Deleted data may persist in backup systems for up to 30 days before being permanently purged.
- Legal Proceedings: If your data is subject to ongoing legal proceedings, we may retain it until the matter is resolved.
- Fraud Prevention: Minimal data (e.g., email hash) may be retained to prevent abuse and fraud.
Deletion Timeline
Immediate
Account access is revoked immediately. You will be logged out and cannot log back in.
24 hours
Active data is deleted from production databases. Connected integrations are disconnected.
7 days
Data is removed from all active systems and caches.
30 days
Data is permanently purged from backup systems. Deletion is complete and irreversible.
Note: During the 30-day period, your data is marked for deletion and inaccessible, but may still exist in backup systems. After 30 days, all data is permanently destroyed.
Verification Process
To protect your privacy and prevent unauthorized deletion, we verify your identity before processing deletion requests:
- Dashboard Deletion: Requires password confirmation
- Email Requests: We send a verification link to your registered email address
- API Requests: Requires valid JWT authentication token
- Facebook Callback: Verified through Facebook's signed request
If we cannot verify your identity, we may request additional information before processing your deletion request.
Confirmation and Status
After submitting a deletion request:
- You will receive an immediate confirmation email acknowledging your request
- Within 24 hours, you'll receive an email confirming that deletion has started
- After 30 days, you'll receive a final email confirming complete deletion
- You can check the status of your request by contacting privacy@boostfy.me
Partial Data Deletion
If you don't want to delete your entire account but want to remove specific data:
- Delete Specific Messages: Use the dashboard to delete individual conversations or message threads
- Remove Integrations: Disconnect specific channels (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) from Settings → Integrations
- Clear Contacts: Delete contact lists from the Contacts page
- Remove Chatbots: Delete specific chatbot flows from the Chatbots page
For custom deletion requests, contact privacy@boostfy.me with details of what you want deleted.
Third-Party Data
Important information about data stored by third parties:
⚠️ Important: Deleting your Boostfy.me account only deletes data stored on our servers. Data stored by third-party platforms requires separate action:
- Facebook/Instagram: Messages sent through Facebook/Instagram are also stored by Meta. To delete this data, you must request deletion through Facebook's settings.
- WhatsApp: WhatsApp messages are end-to-end encrypted and stored on WhatsApp's servers. Refer to WhatsApp's data deletion process.
- Telegram: Telegram stores message history on their servers. Use Telegram's data deletion features.
- Email Providers: Emails sent through your connected email accounts remain in your email provider's servers.
